GrayMatter's Visionary™ system provides powerful sensing for applications ranging from safety monitoring to vision augmentation to autonomous vehicle guidance. The same advanced sensor solutions that power GrayMatter's industry-leading autonomous systems can be used to furnish your application with real-time environmental sensing in an easy-to-use system tailored to your specific needs.
Data Output and Visualization
Visionary™ can output position- and pose-corrected data. This data can be either a raw "point cloud" format or can be pre-processed to detect obstacles in the vehicle's path, lane markings and lane position, roadside berms, or a number of other user-specified features within the scanning area.
Visualization of sensor data is possible within the AVS™ Console, where the user is presented with a fully navigable three-dimensional display of the point cloud and detected objects.
The same data can be used to operate any of GrayMatter's wide range of autonomy products.
The AVS™ can communicate over a number of different mediums, allowing for easy integration into almost any existing system.
Safety Interlock Integration
Visionary™ can be quickly and securely integrated as part of an existing safety system.
Criteria for safety violation can be configured for safe-zone violation, collision probability calculation, loss of visibility, or any number of user-specified qualifications. GrayMatter will work closely with clients to provide a product that fits their precise safety needs.
Standard hardware configuration includes an NC/NO pass-through for current loop integration. Contact a GrayMatter Representitive for specific hardware integration needs.
Optional Input
The Visionary™ System can be distributed as a standalone package with an included GPS/INS unit for obtaining location and pose information from a wide selection of commercially available localization systems. GrayMatter will work to integrate seamlessly with clients' specific localization solutions.
Other AVS™ devices are able to utilize the same location and pose data concurrently.
Other user input, such as user buttons or radio triggers, can be used to augment sensor data. Contact a GrayMatter Representitive to see what is possible for your specific application.
